Prior to joining the firm in 2017, he held senior finance roles at organisations
including Escorts Finance, Shriram Industrial Enterprises, Vam Organics, and the Shahnaz
Hussain Group. His expertise spans corporate budgeting, treasury operations, tax
planning, and multi-location governance frameworks.
Ashok brings a board-level perspective to complex assurance and turnaround assignments.

CA Parash Chandra Jana, FCA, DISA Senior Partner
A finance stalwart with 45 years in power-sector accounting and systems assurance, Paresh
helms our Utilities & Information-System Audit vertical. Before joining S N Banerjea &
Co. as partner in 2016, he spent 24 years as Senior Manager-Finance at WBSEDCL,
mastering tariff accounting, large-scale ERP roll-outs, and statutory compliance for one
of India's largest electricity distributors.
A DISA-qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant and ICAI-certified in Concurrent Audit of
Banks, he now deploys that deep operational insight to conduct risk-based audits, review
IT controls, and mentor teams on governance frameworks that keep critical-infrastructure
clients audit-ready and future-proof.
CA (Dr.) Joydeep Mookerjee, FCA, FCMA, PhD Partner
Dr. Joydeep Mookerjee is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and Fellow Cost Accountant with a
PhD focused on disruptive technology adoption in finance. With over 34 years of
post-qualification experience, he heads the firm's Virtual CFO & Tech-Driven Finance
practice.
His professional background includes finance leadership roles across sectors such as
manufacturing, IT, Media, Hotels, Hospitals, and education. He was instrumental in
setting up the SSC (Shared Services Centre) in the Tata Group and later became Head of
the same. He has managed SAP-enabled finance functions, finance controlling, digital
transformation, investor reporting, FP&A, and fundraising initiatives, including
IPO-readiness for SMEs.
Dr. Joydeep Mookerjee has previously served as CFO at Vision Rx Lab in India, USA,
Canada, UAE and Europe. He had also worked as Head of Finance in the Tata Teleservices
and in PCBL, a listed company in the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. He has worked in senior
positions in several blue-chip MNCs, like Cookson India, Avery India, Praxair India,
Vodafone, to name a few.
Since joining S N Banerjea & Co., Chartered Accountants, he now advises high-growth
enterprises on strategic financial transformation, CFO Services, Business process
re-engineering, and embedding AI/RPA controls to support scale and corporate governance.
His specialises in Business Consulting, with special focus on revenue enhancement,
increasing margins, and enhancing cash flows.
CA Debayan Patra, FCA, RV (Securities & Financial Assets), CFP Partner
Fellow Chartered Accountant with 13 years of post-qualification experience, Debayan heads
the firm's Audit, Valuation and Cross-Border Advisory practice. He is a Registered
Valuer for Securities & Financial Assets with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of
India and a Certified Financial Planner.
His professional work spans statutory audits, business valuations under the Companies
Act 2013 and the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code 2016, and advisory mandates involving
overseas transactions. He has led assurance and tax assignments across the transport,
leather-export, FMCG and polymer sectors, and has guided Bhutanese corporates through
GAAP-to-BAS convergence and turnaround initiatives.
Debayan joined S N Banerjea & Co., Chartered Accountants as a partner in 2017. He was
elected Chairman of the Eastern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of India for the term 2023-24.
CA Rajiv Varma, FCA Partner
CA Rajiv Varma is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with over 18 years of experience in
finance, insurance, and infrastructure sectors. He anchors the Business Finance &
Analytics practice at S N Banerjea & Co., Chartered Accountants.
He is certified by the ICAI in Wealth Management, Master in Business Finance, and
Forensic Audit, combining deep financial expertise with a strategic mindset. Rajiv's
professional journey includes leadership roles at ICICI Lombard and SMS Infrastructure,
where he focused on operations, risk control, and board-level financial reporting.
Since joining the firm as partner in 2013, he has mentored growth-stage businesses,
guided fundraising strategies, and led forensic reviews and cash-flow modelling
exercises. Rajiv's ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
supports clients in building resilient and scalable operations.
CA Priti Hallan, FCA, DISA Partner
CA Priti Hallan is a DISA-qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant with 20 years of
experience in audit, advisory, and systems assurance. She leads the Systems & Forensic
Assurance vertical at S N Banerjea & Co., Chartered Accountants.
Priti holds ICAI certifications in Concurrent Bank Audit, Forensic Audit & Fraud
Detection, Ind AS, and Artificial Intelligence for CAs. Her assignments span statutory
audits, IFRS/Ind AS transitions, and governance reviews across manufacturing, retail,
and service sectors.
Since becoming a partner in 2012, she has applied data analytics and technology-driven
approaches to uncover risks, improve internal controls, and deliver forward-looking
insights that enhance audit quality and business performance.
CA Varun Kajaria, ACA Partner
CA Varun Kajaria is an Associate Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of multi-sector
audit and advisory experience. He heads the Statutory Audit & IFRS/Ind AS Advisory desk
at S N Banerjea & Co., Chartered Accountants.
Trained at Ernst & Young, KPMG, and Deloitte, Varun has led large-scale audits for
listed entities and multinational corporations. Prior to joining the firm in November
2022, he operated his own independent practice for nine years, serving clients across
sectors and geographies.
At the firm, Varun focuses on guiding clients through complex financial reporting
frameworks, aligning audit procedures with evolving regulatory expectations, and
delivering assurance that is both technically sound and investor-ready.
CA Kumar Pankaj, ACA Partner
CA Kumar Pankaj is an Associate Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of
post-qualification experience in manufacturing-sector finance and systems assurance. He
heads the Plant Finance & SAP Assurance desk at S N Banerjea & Co., Chartered
Accountants, operating from the Bengaluru office.
Before joining the firm in February 2024, Kumar held senior finance positions including
Finance Controller at Yokogawa India and Manager - Accounts at Bal Pharma. His work
focused on J-SOX compliance, global financial reporting, and cash-flow optimisation
across multi-plant environments.
He has completed ICAI certification courses in Ind AS and GST, and previously managed
his own practice, advising mid-cap manufacturers on costing, compliance, and ERP
implementation. At the firm, he integrates SAP FI/CO, Tableau, and Hyperion capabilities
to deliver robust audits, operational dashboards, and tax-efficient structures tailored
for production-centric enterprises.

Praveen leads our Internal Audit & Valuation practice from the Bhubaneswar branch. His
